The stock bonus plan is about to
reach its conclusion. It has been twisted, turned, misunderstood,
misrepresented and basically a cluster. By now everyone has either
elected their option and sent the form back in or had option 1 selected
for them by not returning the paperwork. If you have not received a
letter at all by now, you need to call 1-888-786-0794 and find out if
you met the criteria for receiving the bonus and why you aren’t on the
list. In the next 10 days we should be receiving letters on what
options are available to you now with the remaining shares of your
stock. Please keep us advised of any unusual problems you may be having
with this program.
There have been numerous questions
on what rules apply when there is foul weather. The past 6 weeks have
brought us a tornado, a blizzard and flooding. The current plan is to
take each incident on a case by case basis. Not my idea of prudent
planning, but it’s been what this plant uses every year and we’re
looking into what we could do to change this policy.
Everyone is back from the 3 week
partial layoff and it’s the U line’s turn for overtime this month.
Enjoy it or avoid while you can. We don’t have any definite information
on exact length of time or amount of people to be on temporary layoff
for the P lines transition to a new model and upkeep for the rest of the
plant, but will let you know as soon as we’re informed. They have
posted for the one week shutdown during the July 4th holiday
week.
Thanks for all you support and
understanding during these times. I would like to personally apologize
for the lack of information out there on this stock bonus plan, but I
can only pass on what I know myself. Hopefully we can be better
informed in the future.
