Congratulations to the following UAW Local 3047 members on their election to the Executive Board positions voted upon June 18th:

Congratulations to the following stewards elected in their work area:

1^st Shift Hydroform – Primary:  David Hornback

                                  Alternate:  Phillip Stillwell

 

Also a ginormous amount of thanks to the election committee, the candidates who ran without being elected and everyone who voted.  The turnout was great.  Thank you for you interest and participation and I hope to keep hearing from all of you in the future.  Candidates wishing to see the results may do so in the union office.

 

There will be run off election for the following positions for the stated reasons:

 

3^rd Shift Assembly Steward – Ballot discrepancy not found until after voting began

3^rd Shift Support Tech Steward – No majority vote winner.

 

This election will be on Thursday, 25 June 2009.  Date and time to be posted by 2:00 p.m. Friday, 19 June 2009.

 

I hope the rest of our members join me in congratulating both those who won their contest and those who had enough interest and desire to put in for these demanding jobs.  Thanks to the plant as a whole for a well run and highly participated in election.
